The purpose of the order is to create an online platform for sharing data from the science sector. The platform will, according to its assumptions, be a public location on the Internet, providing information for various types of collections, documents, and publications on Earth and Space observations. The purpose of the platform is to create a community around a collection of documents relevant to themselves and at the same time make all resources available without incurring any fees or registration needs. It also assumes to bring together in one place experts able to share both their scientific achievements in the form of publications and their own achievements and information about projects in which they are taking or currently taking part.
The Space Research Centre is creating an openSPACE web platform for sharing data from the science sector. According to the assumptions, the platform will be a public place on the Internet, which is a source of information for various types of collections, documents and publications on Earth and space observation. The purpose of creating the Platform is to gather in one place experts who can share both their scientific achievements in the form of publications as well as their own achievements and information about projects in which they have participated or are currently participating.
Objects collected and presented on the Platform will be described by metadata. Metadata will facilitate search, control, long-term storage and management, and will allow the widest possible use of public information and its machine reading.
The contract includes the development of the project and design documentation as well as the construction and commissioning of the Internet Platform in the target environment.
