Project management services for the realization of the new bridge bridge bicycle and pedestrian bridge Schwetzingen of the city of Schwetzingen

The subject of the tender are project management services for the realization of the new bridge bridge bicycle and pedestrian bridge Schwetzingen of the city of Schwetzingen. The new bridge is intended to cross the 10-track railway line of DB Netz AG (Rheintaltrasse) and provide a more traffic-friendly connection between the districts east of the railway facilities (Oststadt, Schwetzinger Höfe) and the city centre of Schwetzingen. For the planned construction of the bicycle and pedestrian bridge, a provisional grant decision from the Federal Office for Goods Transport - funding code VBIMV1930 - dated 17.12.2021 with a maximum amount of EUR 9,276,602.50 is available. The grant, which is currently still provisional, is part of the guideline for the promotion of innovative projects to improve cycling in Germany.

The project management services include basic services as well as special services of project management as well as services of project management for project stages 1 to 5, action areas A to E in accordance with the AHO publication series No. 9 Project Management in the Construction and Real Estate Industry, 5th edition, as of March 2020.

The commissioning and provision of services are carried out in stages. Processing level I (order level 1) comprises the project stages project preparation and planning. Processing level II (order level 2) includes the project stages execution preparation, execution and project management.
