VAV has approx. 1,500,000 tonnes of stones lying as bias in Gilhusbukta in Lier. VAV is obliged to remove the matter by 2026 and therefore need to dispose of the matter. There is not yet clarification on how much of the matter must be disposed of/removed due to, amongst other things, varying settlement.

It may turn out to be significantly less than 1.5 million tonnes that need to be removed.

VAV does not have an intended landfill site for the matter. The landfill site will therefore be part of the tenderer's solution proposal, which will be included in the award evaluation.
