ASP Centro Servizi alla Persona intends with this procedure to entrust the integrated washing rental service for the Home of Residence for the Elderly and the Day Center. The object of the contract is the rental, reconditioning and logistics service of flat linen, ready-made linen (work uniforms), mattresses, with related transport, collection and distribution (internal and external handling), in favor of the Guests of the Home for the Elderly and the Day Center of ASP Centro Servizi alla Persona. The ASP CRA has 65 beds, of which 45 make up the AIA (High Intensity Care) Unit and 20 the Special Dementia Unit; the Day Centre accommodates 20 users. There are approximately 70 uniformed personnel working in the above-mentioned centres, with different professional profiles. The services must be carried out in accordance with the procedures defined in the Specifications.

The services requested in detail are the following:

(a) the rental supply of all textile equipment consisting of flat bed linen (sheets, pillowcases, sleepers, bedspreads, blankets, etc.) and other items of linen not directly related to bed dressing (towels) for users of residential and semi-residential services, for all uses and needs of the contracting ASP including stocks and initial linen supplies;

(b) the rental supply of all textile equipment consisting of work uniforms;

c) the rental supply of accessory devices consisting of anti-decubitus mattresses and pillows and related covers (the offer price must include the number of washes indicated in Annex 1 Requirements for mattresses and pillows);

d) the replacement and/or replenishment of any rented garment that is deteriorated due to use and/or washing methods or in any case no longer considered usable due to the loss of its characteristics;

(e) the supply of bags, differentiated by colour code, for the collection of dirty linen and mattresses, including water-soluble bags and red bags suitable for the collection of linen whose infectious risk characteristics indicate that they can be handled after collection;

f) the supply of all the equipment necessary for the optimal performance of the service such as trolleys for transporting linen, department trolleys, wardrobe trolleys, bag trolleys, etc.;

(g) the reconditioning (washing, disinfection, drying, ironing, maintenance, folding, packaging, etc.) of flat linen and ready-made linen (uniforms) referred to in the preceding paragraphs;

h) the internal handling of all items with the collection of dirt and distribution of the cleanliness from all the points expressly identified by the ASP;

i) the external handling of all items both "from" and "to" the laundry establishment, and "from" and "to" the various premises of the contracting ASP with its own suitable means of transport, its own employees and management at its own risk, with the observance of every precaution from the point of view of health and hygiene;

(j) the establishment of the initial linen supply and the constant maintenance of core and wardrobe stocks;

k) cleaning and disinfection of means of transport and all equipment used to carry out the service;

l) washing, sanitizing, drying, ironing and transport services:

- quarterly ASP drapery;

- side bumpers for the bed;

- Guests' clothing, knitwear, dresses, etc.;

m) setting up of a computerized system dedicated to the performance of the service that guarantees the possibility of direct access to the operators, identified by the ASP, for constant monitoring and control of the service;

n) the provision of reports showing the movement of the items in use and any other data relating to the service requested by the ASP;

(o) Other services included in the contract:

- supply of writable plastic thermal labels (special printer) to be imprinted on guests' clothing;

- labelling of staff uniforms for new assignment or reinstatement (tunics, trousers, gowns) and registration of the garments on a special form provided by the Contracting Authority.
