Rail system for the CBM experiment.

For the CBM experiment of the FAIR project, a rail system will be procured which must align and position the required detectors along the beam line in several precise measurement positions. Each detector has a weight between 20 and 45 tons and external dimensions up to 11 m in height, 14 m wide and up to 3 m deep. Due to the dimensions, a “4-rail system” is required.
