Kreishallenbad Weilburg GmbH awards the management services for the existing district indoor pool with an attached sauna area in Weilburg for the years 2022 and 2023 with the option to extend it for three times 2 years.

Operational management includes technical management, the organization of the pool operation, deployment of personnel and ensuring traffic safety.

The management of the Oberlahnbad is to be provided by an external company active in the branch in the sense of professional management. The operational management tasks include:

- Operation, management and administration of the pool with its own staff. The client undertakes to employ the caretaker employed by the Limburg-Weilburg district for the purpose of operating the Oberlahnbad within the framework of a staffing contract;

- Processing of all payment transactions on the Kreishallenbad GmbH account as well as the ongoing supervision of the cash registers set up at the pool;

- Marketing and advertisement;

- Financial accounting of the operative business including the monthly sales tax processing (without interest, repayment, depreciation, long lease and taxes);

- Payroll accounting for the persons employed by the contractor;

- preparation of the annual accounts;

- Compliance with the legal and official regulations for swimming, in particular accident prevention regulations and ensuring water hygiene;

- Ensuring school and club sports within the times agreed in the operating concept;

- Daily maintenance and cleaning of the bathroom along with technical systems and outdoor facilities.

The management company creates a plan for the annual maintenance services and recurring inspections and agrees this with the Kreishallenbad Weilburg GmbH.

The management company independently commissions the necessary maintenance services according to the agreed list, organizes and monitors the execution and accepts the maintenance services.

The management company suggests the expert (s) for the recurring tests and commissions them in coordination with the Kreishallenbad Weilburg GmbH. The management company coordinates and organizes the recurring tests and reports to the Kreishallenbad Weilburg GmbH on the results of the tests.

Energy monitoring

The management company records and documents the energy and media consumption values of the property and individual important consumers (if this is technically provided). The management company evaluates these consumption values in terms of an energy-consumption-optimized mode of operation and summarizes the results in a monthly / annual report. The operations management company uses the results of the energy monitoring to develop suggestions for improvement for an energy-optimized operating mode or system configuration.
