The Kommunalbetrieb Krefeld intends to award the contract for the implementation of pest/rat control in the sewer network and in/on public facilities of the city of Krefeld. The rat control measure is to be carried out on one's own responsibility.
All work, such as the opening and closing of the sewer shafts, as well as the safeguarding by means of barrier or warning measures of the respective deployment sites in the traffic area, must be carried out properly and included in the offer fee. It must be taken into account that the sewer shafts are partly located under railway tracks and federal highways require the carrying of a guide arrow if the shafts there are occupied.
RAT CONTROL IN THE SEWER NETWORK
The main occupancy is followed by the check with possible subsequent occupancy.
The occupancy is district-related. According to a survey of the number of rats observed in the respective districts, each shaft must be occupied in certain districts, in other districts only every 3rd or 5th shaft must be occupied.
The number of occupants of the shafts in the individual districts is prescribed by the client. Occupancy is carried out in the sewerage, combined sewage and rainwater network.
Total shafts to be occupied: approx. 9,000 pieces per year.
The occupancy must take place in closed units (districts) and thus be carried out as concentrated as possible.
In the event of interim reports of rat infestation outside the control plan, a direct additional special assignment must be made. The special occupancy must be made within 3 working days.
RAT CONTROL IN/ON PUBLIC FACILITIES OF THE CITY OF KREFELD
- Road construction (roadside greenery approx. 100 danger spots/year, cable ducts approx. 20 danger spots/year),
- cemeteries approx. 20 danger spots/year,
- Green spaces in total 60 (divided into forest approx. 10 danger spots/year, parks approx. 20 danger spots/year and playgrounds approx. 20 danger spots/year, daycare center / schools approx. 10 danger spots/year)
The occupancy takes place as a result of reports from the population checked by the AG in the form of a special occupancy. The special occupancy must be made within 3 working days.
