A new two-part technical center building is currently being built on the Münchberg campus of the University of Applied Sciences Hof. In one of these two parts, a new experimental line for the production of hydroentangled and thermally bonded nonwovens will be set up. In the second part, machines are to be installed with which high-performance inorganic fibers such as basalt, ceramics and glass as well as carbon fibers can be processed into innovative textile surfaces and preforms. In order to achieve these goals, the University of Applied Sciences Hof will procure a weaving machine including double gripper technology.
A new two-part technical center building is currently being built on the Münchberg campus of the University of Applied Sciences Hof. In the second part, machines are to be installed with which high-performance inorganic fibers such as basalt, ceramics and glass as well as carbon fibers can be processed into innovative textile surfaces and preforms. In order to achieve these goals, Hof University will provide a weaving machine with the following core requirements:
- Double gripper technology with 2 superposed bringer and gripper claws,
- design for inorganic and carbon-based fibers in a wide range of fineness,
Possibility of producing flat fabrics, spacer fabrics, multilayer fabrics and three-dimensional fabric structures,
- variably adjustable compartment geometry for each individual warp thread,
- Creation of complex movement profiles for gentle processing of highly sensitive materials,
- Gate with tangentially removable winding units for a rotation-free feeding of the threads,
- Linear fabric withdrawal.
By the possibility of carrying out experiments and production of small sample series, the weaving machine should be used successfully in the research service sector, as well as for the practical part of scientific work. Another focus is the use of the facility for the acquisition and processing of third-party funded projects.
place scheme
The space available for the web system and the control cabinet can be seen in the plan (see Annex 2019-10-21_TECH MUE_platemachine loom). All necessary legal conditions for the operation, eg. B. escape routes, max. Noise emission etc. must be observed. Depending on the installation, necessary changes to the escape routes compared to the requirements in the plan require reconciliation.
KO criteria
The KO criteria formulated in the specification of services relate to the mandatory requirements made of the web system. Answering these KO criteria with "No" will result in the exclusion of the tenderer from the tender.
