The St. Franziskus district hospital in Saarburg has determined a location for a new building as part of a feasibility study. This is necessary due to the expansion of the hospital portfolio. In the course of this, the hospital's existing structure is also being rebuilt and restructured in a sustainable manner. Today's campus extends on a hillside along Graf-Siegfried-Strasse in Saarburg. The new building site was examined in terms of planning and function and was selected as the ideal area for an expansion of the campus in variant planning. A container extension, which was once necessary as an interim operating room, still stands here today. This will be dismantled in advance. Before the start of the feasibility study, the idealized room and function program was agreed with the ministry. The result of the feasibility study is attached to the tender documents.
