The major maintenance of the N281 between hm 21.3 and hm 32.2 will be put out to tender.

The intended start date of the agreement is August 18, 2023.

The final delivery of the work must take place no later than 1 December 2023. When tendering, the tenderer must draw up a detailed implementation schedule, which must be respected in the event of the award.

The agreement is subject to the Uniform Administrative Conditions for the execution of works and technical installation works 2012 (UAV 2012) and the standard RAW provisions 2020, except insofar as this is deviated from in this tender guideline or in the specifications.

Maintenance must be carried out so that the road can function safely and comfortably for another 20 years. The activities to be carried out for this purpose are as follows:

Milling asphalt construction;

Apply asphalt interlayers;

Apply two-layer ZOAB;

Application of road markings;

Grondwerkzaamheden;

Inspection and cleaning of sewers;

Renewing and installing guide rail;

Replacement of lighting fixtures;

Application of bituminous joint transitions;

Taking traffic measures;

Various additional activities.

To indicate the size of the contract, the following numbers can be provided:

Approximately 34,000 tons of asphalt

Approx. 300,000 m2 asfaltfreeswerk
