The procurement includes the purchase of two (2) CT scanners including an additional (1) CT scanner as an option. Västmanland Hospital in Västerås and Köping performs about 55,000 CT examinations annually, of which 30,000 are acute. Today there are six DT machines, two in Köping and four in Västerås.

Scope of procurement

This procurement relates to the purchase of two (2) CT scanners in 2023 with an option to purchase an additional (1) CT scanner until 2025-12-31.

The procurement includes in its entirety:

- Delivery of current equipment incl. complete delivery, installation, tuning and testing to fully operational condition. - Clinical and technical documentation - Training of clinical and technical staff - Option on service contract after the warranty period of the equipment- Option on a CT scanner equivalent to that referred to as Object 2 - Option on technical service training - Option on training - Option on contrast injector- Option on navigation system- Option on remote control- Option on equipment for treatment planning- Option on service aids- Option list of accessories and options
