Repair and maintenance services. The future requirement is to secure a 3 year support solution for the In-service Hazardous Environment Search Equipment (HESE) suite consisting of circa 25 separate items of equipment, all of which will be based across the UK and Northern Ireland.
The current In-Service HESE capability provides the equipment necessary for safe access to hazardous working environments, including confined spaces and in spaces where the supply of breathable air cannot be guaranteed. It is provided through numerous safety equipment that make up the HESE capability, which is required in support of both Military operations and Military Aid to the Civilian Powers (MACP).
Services against the contract will fall under the following categories:
1) Core support (e.g. technical support, obsolescence monitoring and configuration control);
2) Repair and maintenance of HESE equipment, including on-site maintenance both on UK Mainland and Northern Ireland;
3) Supply of HESE Equipment.
