Planning services for the construction of a new social and reception building on the site of the Lausward power plant in Düsseldorf
Stadtwerke Düsseldorf AG intends to carry out an award procedure for the construction of a new social and station building for the Lausward power plant.
The realization area for the building is in direct visual contact with the "Block Fortuna" with the façade design by kadawittfeldarchitektur, which emerged in a competition procedure, and will be formative for the entrance area.
On the site of the Lausward power plant, a forward-looking social building is to be built, whose positive effects radiate on the environment and the employees. With the design of a new entrance situation, an address is to be formed that succeeds in combining urban planning and architecture, function and sustainability in an exemplary and representative way.
With the award procedure, the basic planning idea for the realization of the new social and station building is to be developed. Functionality is in the foreground in the structural design and should reflect the use. An appearance is expected that blends in with its environment. Clear structures and coherent spatial sequences of the different areas of use and function inside and outside should support the orientability as well as the processes of the different uses.
In the functional construction, the focus is to be placed on the needs of the workforce. The space program of the social and reception building comprises a gross floor area (GFA) of around 1,500m2 and includes several functional areas - including storage rooms, changing rooms, showers and a recreation room for the workforce and the gatekeeper area.
In the context of the submission of the offer, the pre-qualified bidder presents the following facts:

The aim is an architecture appropriate to the place with high urban planning and architectural quality while at the same time taking into account functional, technical, energetic, economic and ecological aspects.
The scope of the planning services is considered to be complete and includes all planning activities that are necessary to achieve the project goal (e.g. basic determination, preliminary planning, design planning, approval planning, execution planning, preparation of the award, participation in the award of contracts object monitoring and documentation, interface coordination, object support, quality assurance, construction supervision, construction supervision, commissioning coordination, training, Scheduling, cost tracking and warranty processing), whereby the Client reserves the right to place an order in an expected 5 stages.
The contractor is only commissioned if the responsible committees of the client approve the planning service. If the committee's approval is refused, the contractor cannot assert any claims, in particular no claims for damages, against the client.
