ESF funding instrument No 15 “Vocational integration of young people: vocational guidance and vocational preparation”

Persons up to the age of 25 who, due to their individual situation, have difficulties in participating in the training or labour market shall be provided with the aim of obtaining a school, training or vocational qualification or of reintroducing them into working life or applying for social benefits or to accept. In addition, care and support services should be provided with the aim of providing basic safety services for jobseekers, initiating therapeutic treatment and the introduction of standard services for activation, stabilisation and early occupational promotion.

The Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family as well as the participating Berlin Jobcenters also act as a demand provider.

Adding young people and young adults to the training and labour market for the district of the Lichtenberg Jobcenter

The measures and offers of Lot 1 are to be divided into three phases and should be designed for the individual period of participation of 12 months. The duration of participation for the respective phases is basically up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, Phases II and III can be extended for a further period of 6 months if necessary, if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The need shall be justified by the AN vis-à-vis the respective user and approved by the requestor in each individual case.

These are to be supported by intensive individual advice and support of the participants:

— to overcome their individual disabilities and disadvantages (difficulties),

— to (re) use basic security services, and

— to develop and stabilise the readiness for school, training or vocational qualifications or to take up employment.

Total number of participants: 18, Minimum number of participants: 15.

Lot 1 is financed by 50% of ESF resources.

Inducing young people and young adults into the training and labour market for the district of the Jobcenter Marzahn-Hellersdorf

The measures and offers of lot 2 are to be divided into three phases and should be designed for the individual participation period of 12 months. The duration of participation for the respective phases is basically up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, Phases II and III can be extended for a further period of 6 months if necessary, if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The need shall be justified by the AN vis-à-vis the respective user and approved by the requestor in each individual case.

These are to be supported by intensive individual advice and support of the participants:

— to overcome their individual disabilities and disadvantages (difficulties),

— to (re) use basic security services, and

Total number of participants: 60, Minimum number of participants: 42

Adding young people and young adults to the training and labour market for the Mitte Jobcenter district

The measures and offers in lot 3 are to be divided into three phases and should be designed for the individual participation period of 12 months. The duration of participation for the respective phases is basically up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, Phases II and III can be extended for a further period of 6 months if necessary, if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The need shall be justified by the AN vis-à-vis the respective user and approved by the requestor in each individual case.

— to overcome their individual disabilities and disadvantages (difficulties),

Adding young people and young adults to the training and labour market for the district of Jobcenter Neukölln

The measures and offers of lot 4 are to be divided into three phases and should be designed for the individual participation period of 12 months. The duration of participation for the respective phases is basically up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, Phases II and III can be extended for a further period of 6 months if necessary, if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The need shall be justified by the AN vis-à-vis the respective user and approved by the requestor in each individual case.

The measures and offers of lot 5 are to be structured in three phases and should be designed for the individual participation period of 12 months. The duration of participation for the respective phases is basically up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, Phases II and III can be extended for a further period of 6 months if necessary, if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The need shall be justified by the AN vis-à-vis the respective user and approved by the requestor in each individual case.

Adding young people and young adults to the training and job market for the district of the Jobcenter Steglitz-Zehlendorf

The measures and offers of lot 6 are to be divided into three phases and should be designed for the individual period of participation of 12 months. The duration of participation for the respective phases is basically up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, Phases II and III can be extended for a further period of 6 months if necessary, if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The need shall be justified by the AN vis-à-vis the respective user and approved by the requestor in each individual case.
