"City Transport" EAD, in partnership with the Municipality of Varna, is implementing this public procurement procedure for the activity: "Delivery/Renewal of rolling stock for mass public urban transport," within the framework of project No. BG16FFPR003-1.001-0034 "Improving transport connectivity and urban mobility in Varna," which is financed by the "Regional Development" Program 2021-2027, through a procedure for direct grant funding BG16FFPR003-1.001 "Support for integrated urban development in the 10 urban municipalities – main centers of growth" under Grant Agreement No. BG16FFPR003-1.001-0034-C01 dated 29.08.2025, in connection with which the execution of the specific public procurement is assigned. The subject of this public procurement procedure is: "Delivery of Environmental Vehicles and Charging Stations." Within the scope of this procedure, the delivery includes the purchase of new rolling stock - vehicles for public transport, with which the service for public passenger transport will be carried out, with the aim of contributing to cleaner air in the city of Varna through the delivery of electric buses and charging stations for them, reducing pollution from harmful emissions from vehicle engines, lowering noise and vibrations in urban areas, increasing energy savings in the implementation of passenger transport, and enhancing the safety and reliability of transport services, ensuring comfort and convenience for passengers. It is planned to deliver through the purchase of 8 (eight) new electric buses, low-floor solo 12,000 mm, and specialized equipment for them, including 8 (eight) slow charging stations and 2 (two) fast charging stations, accompanying services for warranty maintenance and service during the warranty period, proposed by the participant, and training for individuals designated by the Contracting Authority, in accordance with the requirements described in the technical specification.
