Ilm is planning the new construction of the St. Elisabeth daycare center with 3 crèche groups for total. approx. 39 crèche places and 5 kindergarten groups for total. approx. 130 kindergarten places. The new building is to be built on the inner-city property of the existing kindergarten, which will be demolished after completion of the new building.
The day care center currently consists of two building parts, the kindergarten on the property with the corridor no. 1122 as well as the nursery, which is located in the building of the sports home on the adjacent property.
Before the start of the construction project, the building part of the crèche is to be demolished in order to create space for the new building. The crèche is to be accommodated for the construction period in the already built replacement new building north of the existing kindergarten.
The subject of the contract are services of structural design LPH 1-6, possibly 7+8 according to § 49 ff HOAI 2021, with step-by-step commissioning.

If, during the design planning, it turns out that the room program cannot be accommodated on the currently planned areas, it may be necessary to also use the area of the existing, demolished kindergarten building.
This would then require a 2nd construction phase, which entails an extension of the construction period.
The operation of the day care center must be maintained during the construction project.
The service phases 1 and 2 of the object planning have already been provided by the client. The documents will be made available to the tenderers.
The new building is intended as a timber construction with a high degree of prefabrication and high energy efficiency.

The degree of prefabrication shall result in an appropriate reduction in the performance profile in the contract.
If necessary, various special services will also be commissioned, in particular e.B.:
- in LPH 4: Evidence of structural fire protection, if necessary taking into account the temperature (hot measurement),
— in LPH 6: Contribution to the SOW with the object planner's service program (in this case the corresponding basic services of this service phase are omitted),
— in LPH 7: Participate in the review and evaluation of quotations based on the specifications of the property planner's service program,
— Participation in the examination and evaluation of ancillary offers (for modular tenders)
—Participation in the cost estimate according to DIN 276 or other specifications of the client from unit prices or package offers
— in LPH 8: Engineering check of the design of the structure for compliance with the tested static documents.
Funding will be applied for for this project.
Timeline:
The award negotiations are expected to take place in mid-September 2022. The award of the contract and the immediately following project start is scheduled for mid/end of November 2022.
The approval planning (LPH 4) is to be completed by spring 2023.
Completion is to take place on 1.7.2025, commissioning (with completed remedy of defects) on 1.9.2025.
