69120 Heidelberg, Im Neuenheimer Feld 347, Heidelberg, University, Central Animal Laboratory: Exchange of autoclaves, engineering services according to Part 4 Section 2 HOAI

The central animal laboratory of the Interfaculty Biomedical Research Institute (IBF) in building INF 347 of the theoretical department of Heidelberg University has a total of 5 steam sterilizers. In addition to the corresponding personnel locks, these steam sterilizers form the main supply lines to the animal stalls of the IBF. All goods traffic in and out of the animal stalls on the ground floor and on the first floor is managed via these systems.

Four of the steam sterilizers are still part of the initial equipment of the building. These sterilizers have been in operation for 22 years and have reached their maximum batch number. Due to considerable age-related signs of wear, the future acceptance of the systems by the TÜV is strongly questioned. An exchange of the 4 steam sterilizers is therefore imperative.

In the course of the measure, the electrical connection lines and the media supply for steam, cold water, compressed air and drinking or industrial water will also be renewed.

The pro rata total construction costs (KG 474 - medical and laboratory equipment) amount to EUR 1 800 000 gross.

Engineering services according to Part 4 Section 2 HOAI, service phases 2, 3 and 5 to 9 according to § 51 HOAI as well as special services of service phases 8 and 9 for the system group usage-specific systems (laboratory systems: planning the exchange of 4 steam sterilizers).
