The field survey programme covers areas along the planned transmission lines that are not currently under investigation. There are no known previous investigations. The purpose of the surveys is to clarify the geotechnical conditions mainly at crossing points with major roads, railways, landscaped rafting gutters/canals and watercourses in order to highlight the possibilities of carrying out trenchless wiring.
