Description:
Purchase of Chlorine and Lye for Drinking Water Treatment at NRV IKS

The contract concerns the purchase and delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite (15 % NaOCl) and Lye, Sodium hydroxide (50 % NaOH) to NRV IKS.

NaOCl is dosed in connection with disinfection of the drinking water as one of several hygienic barriers.

NaOH is dosed to adjust the pH.

Annual consumption:

15 % NaOCl: approx. 30 tonnes/year.

50 % NaOH: approx. 80-110 tonnes/year.
