Given the enormous task of new construction and replacement accommodation for primary schools in Amsterdam, a lot of temporary accommodation is needed every year. School boards do not want to house their children for long periods in temporary units of minimal quality. School boards and the municipality want to invest smartly in high-quality flexible housing. Looking over the last 10 years, there was at least 10,000 m annually
The approach is that this temporary accommodation of permanent quality (including Fresh Schools class B and BENG) will be purchased with a service contract for management and maintenance (20 years), relocation, configuration in various compositions, expansion, demolition, storage and possible repurchase. At the moment at least three schools are planned in the next 2 years.
This market consultation will take place as a physical meeting on 24 June 2020 from 1.30 to 3.30 pm in Amsterdam.
The intention is to purchase the basic volume of temporary accommodation under this framework agreement from one supplier for a period of 8 years, including - in addition to a 2-year manufacturer's warranty - a service contract for management and maintenance, relocation and configuration in various configurations, expansion, storage, demolition and possible repurchase for a period of 20 years.
