Description:
Contracting of works for the transfer project between the basins of the rivers Pizarroso, Alcollarín and Búrdalo, TT. MM. of Abertura, Alcollarín, Escurial and Zorita (Cáceres).

In accordance with the provisions of the technical approval of the Project and that of the Addendum, the works are aimed at the construction of a transfer channel between the basins of the Pizarroso, Alcollarín and Búrdalo rivers that gives continuity to the existing channel in the García de Sola and Sierra Brava dams, thus complementing the hydraulic complex of Las Dehesas. The Búrdalo and Alcollarín dams have already been completed. The channel (lined) will have a length of 36,474 m and a nominal hydraulic capacity of 15 m3/s.In most of its route, the sections will be open (trapezoidal section), but there is some section in which this is not the case, as in the crossing of the stream of Los Pozos, which will be carried out by an aqueduct (section in double frame), and 4 tunnels that are necessary to save 2 divides (Pizarroso-Alcollarín and Alcollarín-Búrdalo) and solve the passage of the Campo Lugar solar power plant (2 more tunnels). The section of the tunnels will be circular, defining in the Project the necessary transitions between the different sections that are presented along the route. The canal will have a service road, drainage works (longitudinal and transverse), spillways, regulation, drains, etc. The Project also includes the replacement of services and easements, in addition to corrective measures of environmental impact.
