With the new integration law, the Empire wants inburgeringswet to learn the language faster, to have a paid job faster and more often and to participate fully in society. This is mainly done by no longer completely shifting the responsibility for integration to the citizen, but by giving the municipality a central role in this.
The new integration system has three different learning routes: the B1 route, the Zeldredheidsroute (Z-Route) and the Educational Route. This tender relates to the B1 and Z routes. If a status holder is illiterate (unable to read and write) or is otherwise alphabetized (unable to read and write in the Latin script) then an alphabetization path is started first.
The aim of the learning routes is that citizens integrate as well and quickly as possible and can participate in Dutch society and in the labour market.
The assignment consists in offering:
1. B1 route, consisting of the components Language and Knowledge of the Dutch Maatschappij (KNM);
2. Z-route (Self-sufficiency Route): consisting of the components Language and Knowledge of the Dutch Maatschappij (KNM).
Literacy is included (if necessary).
