The school center Mühlenredder in Reinbek, built in the 1970s, is to be renovated, rebuilt and extended. The 3- or 1-storey building complex, built as a Kassel model, will be dismantled from precast columns, trusses and ceiling panels except for the original reinforced concrete skeleton structure. The demolition work is carried out earlier in the forefront of the renovation. The subsequent conversion and extension work will be carried out in a coherent construction process without ongoing operation. The existing parts of the building will receive a completely new outer shell as well as a completely new interior. Furthermore, the entire grounds are renewed while preserving the tree population.
