The German Weather Service operates a meteorological measuring network, which is constantly being modernized in the course of the advancing automation and expanded by complex measuring systems. For the operational operation of these measuring systems, it is absolutely necessary to monitor the technical condition and the function of the individual components of the measuring systems in the best possible way.

The monitoring of the measuring systems should be automated with the aid of a scalable, universally applicable software solution independent of the actual measuring system. It should be a standard software that is already being used operationally in high-tech manufacturing environments. For monitoring statistical methods should be used, which are known under the keyword SPC or SMC.

In addition to the provision and installation of the standard software, a training course and services are provided.
