The existing building of the Meusebach elementary school belongs to the “Erfurt” type series school building and is used as a primary school. The building is characterised by two 5-storey longitudinal transoms that are approximately 20 m long and 8 m wide and a 6 m wide, north-south oriented 5-storey central section, as well as an almost square 4-storey middle section arranged in between. This has a dimension of approx. 12x6m, and is connected to the adjacent longitudinal latches via a connector each. The school building was constructed in large panel construction around 1985/86, whereby the static system is formed by a cell construction. There is a staircase in each of the longitudinal bars. All parts of the building are closed off with a flat roof in the upper area.
