Project insurance for the construction project referred to in II 1.1) for the client and all companies commissioned by the client with the planning, supervision and execution of this construction project.

The contract includes contract management in lot 1 and contract participation in lot 2. Detailed information on lot allocation can be found in the specific sections of this EU notice.

The Hessische Landesbahn GmbH is planning the construction of the new Butzbach workshop.

In particular, the following measures are planned for the implementation of the project: construction of a workshop hall for operational and heavy maintenance on 8 tracks, construction of a company building with technical rooms (house connection rooms), storage areas, component workshops, social and sanitary areas as well as office and training rooms, construction of a combined building with a track for wheelset machining (URD) and a track for underfloor cleaning, construction of four storage buildings, Construction of a track system to the connection point to the existing track system with overhead line, construction of track field and street lighting, construction of the necessary outdoor and traffic facilities (Werkstraße), electrification of the feeder track from Butzbach station to the maintenance facility, construction of a technically secured level crossing in the course of the roadside access to the maintenance facility.

The total investment for this project is estimated at EUR 121,275 million. Of this, approximately EUR 4.3 million has already been settled via an existing contract. The new insurance contract will replace the existing contract. It is currently planned to last until 31.12.2025. The insurance contract commences at the end of the tender process with the date of the award following a currently existing preliminary cover.

(Type H-EU) In liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is EUR 20,000,000 as a lump sum for personal injury, property damage and financial loss, including benefits from environmental liability insurance.

In planning liability insurance, a separate amount of coverage of EUR 10,000,000 per claim is available at a flat-rate rate for property and financial losses. The aforementioned sums are triple maximized.

The extended maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part is 42 months. The subsequent liability is 10 years in liability insurance and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance.

The general deductible is at least EUR 10 000. The deductible is not payable for personal injury.

The insurance contract begins on the date of the surcharge.
