Navigation equipment. The Air Defence and Air Traffic Services delivery Team has a requirement for Post Design Services, Industrial Support and Depth Repair Services support for the MoD Fleet of TRN26 TACANs. The Contract duration will be for 1 Year plus 1 Option Year. The MoD holds 3 systems in readiness for deployment worldwide, has 6 in the UK and 1 in the Flakland Islands, permanently sited. To provide effective support of the TRN26 TACAN, interested parties must demonstrate to the Authority that will have access to design, repair and maintenance data from the OEM, Moog, have the capability to and capacity to carry out Depth Repair and act as the Design Authority from the Contract Let date. Whilst the Contractor will not normally be required to travel to TRN26 TACAN sites, the Authority may request that the Contractor provide engineering assistance 'in-situ' and provide advice for operation, infrastructure and commissioning of deployed and permanent sites.
