The state-owned company Saxony Geographic Information and Surveying (GeoSN) intends to replace imagePRESS C6010 VPS digital printing system, which has been in operation since December 2013, because the manufacturer's support for the system expires in the current year. The colour printing system includes an integrated scanner with copy function, an integrated perfect binder E1 (three-side bleed), saddle and back stitching (frontbe cut), hole function (two and quadruple) and an external high-performance controller.
The printing system is used to create brochures (including annual reports, topmaps, geological maps), training materials, advertising material (bookmarks) and the like. The system has been operating in GeoSN since December 1, 2013.
In geoSN, an in-service digital color printing system imagePRESS C6010 VPS with integrated scanner with copy function, integrated Perfect Binder 1 module, integrated backstitching (front bleed), integrated hole punching (two and quadruple) and external high-performance controller must be replaced by a new adequate printing system become. All functionalities in this system to be replaced must also be available as minimum requirements in the newly delivered printing system.
The printing system has a footprint area of 8.80 m x 2.00 m. The installation site can be viewed before submitting an offer. The printing system is installed on a floor with underfloor heating. Stainless steel plates are located between the floor and the pressure system to distribute the total load.
Connections for power supply (240V) and IT network are available near the printer (installed in ground channels). If necessary, a construction sketch can be requested.
Structural changes (room expansion, etc.) cannot be made.
4.2 Object of service
The contractor supplies GeOSN with a digital color printing system with integrated scanner with copy function, with an integrated module (equivalent type a perfect binder E1) for three-side trimming, integrated saddle and backstitching (minimum front bleed), integrated hole punching (at least two and four times) and an external High performance controller. As minimum requirements, the new system must guarantee all functionalities that are present in the printing system to be replaced.
The bidder has to deliver, set up, configure and put it into operation by the bidder. This also includes migrating existing data — currently guaranteed by the PrismaPrepare and PrismaAccess software — into the software to be delivered new with the system.
A brand-new, robust and easy-to-use system is to be delivered. It must be a maintenance and environmentally friendly system for which the offer must be accompanied by a certificate with the corresponding German or European certification marks for emission and ozone poverty (see point 2.12 of the award document). The printing system to be set up must have a high stability so that the product quality during printing is not negatively affected. The system ensures three-side bleed and associated with it (as min-dest-requirements) all requirements of the Perfect Binder E1 module.
Employees entrusted with operating the system in GeOSN must be trained.

34 click volumes (for rent) In the service contract, total annual freiklickvo lumens (copying, printing) of 300,000 (color) and 120,000 (b/w) are to be calculated effectively once a year after the meter reading is reported. It should also be ensured that free clicks can be adjusted to the contract during the lease period.
Unused free clicks are to be presented within a contract year and charged against the print volume of the following months. Copies/prints that go beyond the annual volume only have to be settled above the subsequent click prices b/w and color per DIN A4. Technician copies must be deducted.
4.3 Hardware maintenance
The contractor must keep the system in working condition.
In the event of a malfunction, the customer must begin rectification of the fault within 8 working hours after the respective fault message.
The following times are available for troubleshooting:

- Fridays from 08:00-14:00
