The tender comprises translating 2 library rules from English to Norwegian.

The tender is for translations from English to Norwegian of 2 sets of rules that the National Library is responsible for, Norsk WebDewey and RDA (Resource Description and Access). Both sets of rules come with updates throughout the year, which must be translated before the Norwegian version is updated. The updates are mainly concentrated at the same time each year, but there can also be minor changes throughout the year.

The National Library would like to enter into a framework agreement for translation services in the following areas:

1) Translation of updates in Norsk Webdewey (one-time translation)

2) Translation of updates in RDA (Resource Description & Access)

The content that shall be procured is described in more detail in Annex A — Requirement Specifications.
