The city has launched a restoration program for the old Cachat refreshment stall, a masterpiece of art nouveau, inaugurated in 1905 and listed as a historic monument on 21.4.1986. This section of work concerns:
- restoration of masonry facades,
- restoration of wood and metal joinery including replacement of modified joinery,
- restoration of the framework and the wooden frame,
- restoration of the walls and wooden claddings of the upper level (interior and exterior),
- restoration of the covers with restitution of the original provisions which have disappeared,
- restitution of the missing decorative elements (consoles on the masonry facades and roof balustrades on the main body of the building and the small promenade),
- relaunch of lots nº 2 with modification and 3 with new breakdown (lots nº 3, 7 and 8) unsuccessful during previous consultations.
