The district of Kassel is planning the renovation of the three-field sports hall (built in 1971) of the Walter-Lübcke-Schule in Wolfhagen. In addition to school and club sports, the sports hall is also used as an event location. The hall has been modernized several times in the meantime, a thorough renovation is now essential.
The following measures are to be implemented:
- upgrading the main roof,
- Installation of noise protection measures in the sports hall,
- Replacement of the flat roofs of the outbuildings with pent roofs,
- the entry and access situations have to be reorganized,
- Complete renovation and reorganization of the sanitary areas and renewal of all inflow and outflow pipes,
- creation of additional rooms,
- Installation of radiant ceiling panels with integrated ventilation,
- Windows and glass block surfaces are to be renewed,
- all doors and gates have to be renewed,
- the facade (exposed aggregate concrete slabs) is to be renovated, if necessary to be energetically renovated,
- the indoor sports floor has to be renewed,
- Impact protection devices are to be added,
- the electrical distribution has to be completely renewed, the safety lighting added,
- the extinguishing water ring main and the drinking water network must be separated,
- the sports hall will be equipped with a mobile grandstand,
