The overall project “A9 Siders Ost - Leuk/Susten-Ost “(2nd class national road, 2x2 lanes) has a length of 8,510m.
The open route, divided into three sections, has a total length of 2,230m: 420m (Sierre East) +1,190m (prices) +620m (Emsbach).
A 6,259m long access road connects the Sierre East connection and the Susten West half connection and runs mostly over the covered Pfyn cuts.
The services of the SIA sub-phases 32 detailed project; 41 call for tenders; 51 documents for execution; 52 execution (construction control only) and 53 commissioning, completion must be provided for the open track (including engineering buildings and two SABA) and the development road.
To ensure the homogeneity of the overall A9 project, the following overarching concepts must also be developed for the entire project:
- road geometry and main axes
- the road superstructure catalogue (standard parts)
- the drainage system
