Government Procurement Service as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a National Pan Government Collaborative Framework Agreement for use by UK public sector bodies identified at VI.3 (and any future successors to these organisations), which include Central Government Departments and their Arm's Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies, Local authorities, Ministry of Defence and HM Prison Service

The above Public Sector Bodies have a need for temporary and fixed term Locum Doctors (including locum GPs) to provide cover for a wide variety of needs.

The standards of supply will be in accordance with all relevant legislation, regulations and guidelines pertinent to the provision of the services and as required by NHS bodies and other public sector organisations, including but not limited to Department of Health and NHS Employers requirements for safer recruitment and employment checks.

Government Procurement Service reserves the right for an electronic auction to be held by Public Sector bodies during further competition among the parties to the Framework Agreement(s).
