The total area is about 17 ha. The exploratory campaigns of 2007, 2017, 2018 narrowed the excavation area to 5.4 ha.

- Excavation phase: organization of the excavation, excavation site, monitoring of soil removal, documentation of findings, recovery and sampling for paleo-ecological and chronological (C14 and Dendro) and geological analyses.
