Provision of bicycles by way of leasing for the purpose of making them available to authorised employees for business and private use, including insurance of bicycles, optional inspection and services.

The client intends to offer company bike leasing to eligible employees through deferred compensation. The aim is to find a single provider (lessor and service provider with specialist dealers and insurance service providers). The lessee should not be the employees, but the client who makes the company bike available to the employees.

The subject of the tender is therefore a framework agreement for the provision of bicycles by way of leasing (partial amortisation - non-pay-out leasing) for the purpose of making them available to authorised employees of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk for business and private use, including insurance and services (in particular handling of ordering, return and claims settlement processes, optional inspection and provision of an online portal).

The framework agreement does not give rise to any claim on the part of the contractor to call off a certain quantity. A minimum purchase quantity has not been agreed; The estimated purchase quantity is 340 bicycles.

The framework agreement loses its effectiveness when the total value specified in II.1.5 is reached without the need for a notice of termination.
