The assignment consists of four parts:

1. Providing Managed Services, effectively taking over and maintaining the current VDI environment.

From there, in line with the strategy for the digital workplace of 2030 (Appendix 9), the contractor will start the transformation to the digital workplace together with the client. In that transformation, the following components are added to the command:

2. Providing (technical) support on the Microsoft365 environment and projects where different components (Office, network storage) migrate to the Microsoft Cloud.

3. Delivering, maintaining and further developing and implementing in the organization a standard solution for the future digital workplace (EVI) with the ultimate goal of eliminating the VDI environment.

4. The provision of SIEM/SOC services (obligation under the BIO: Appendix 2b).

Part 1 will be implemented and migrated after award and delivered in full acceptance and working at the latest by the end of December 2022. Parts 2, 3 and 4 will be implemented from January 2023.

The agreement is entered into for a period of at least four years and a maximum of ten years of service. The effective date of the agreement is October 1, 2022. Then the implementation process is started. The service must be operational on 1 January 2023. At that time, the initial contract period of four years starts.
