The assignment is for responsibility for error correction/maintenance and further development of NCTS-applications — the Customs Electronic Transit System. The applications, which are also called CDTA/NO are developed for the EU commission and they are used by 15 countries that are members of the Transit Convention. The main function for the applications is the exchange of EDI-messages customs to customs and between customs and businesses. The applications use the EDIFACT-standard, are developed in C - C++ and use Tuxedo transaction system.

The system is based on AIX 7 and Oracle 11.
