The municipalities in the procurement cooperation, Dovre, Lesja, Lom, Sel, Skjåk and Vågå municipalities, intend to enter into a contract for the procurement of tele traffic and the accompanying services. The aim of the contract is to cover the municipalities' ongoing need for stable telecommunication systems with an experience of top quality, stability and user friendliness.

The municipalities currently have traditional call contracts for landlines and mobiles and have in recent years phased in Telenor's InContact system. The system requested in this competition shall replace the current InContact system without a need for investments in new licences or servers.

The current telephony platform consists of a mix of mobile, landlines on ISDN and analogue. The system functions satisfactory and the starting point is that it is not desirable to change the portfolio as regards the current situation. This is justified by the fact that the municipalities do not currently have the resources to make other changes than those that are absolutely necessary for the change of service provider.

The municipalities have recently started to uses MS Lync. The service provider must therefore be able to provide the necessary integration with Lync.
