New construction of a total of 5 accommodation buildings in modular construction, 3 of them in the Rommel barracks in Dornstadt and 2 in the Wilhelmsburg barracks in Ulm. Engineering services are to be awarded in accordance with Part 4 Section 2 HOAI for system groups 1 to 3 in accordance with Section 53 (2) HOAI in service phases 2 to 3 and 5 to 8 with special services. The services are ordered in stages. Applications for partial services are not possible.

The measure includes the new construction of 5 modular housing units in the Rommel barracks in Dornstadt (253 accommodations, divided into 3 buildings) and in the WIlhelmsburg barracks in Ulm (2 buildings with 149 residential units and support office). The properties are approximately 6 km apart. The buildings may have a (partial) basement. The new buildings are to be connected to the existing infrastructure of the respective property. The heat supply is realized by connecting to the existing local heating network. The drainage of the buildings is to be carried out as a separation system. The guideline sustainable building is to be applied in principle. The Sustainable Building Assessment System (BNB) is to be applied accordingly. The estimated total construction costs are approx. EUR 17.0 million gross for the Rommel barracks and approx. EUR 9.8 million gross for the Wilhelmsburg barracks. Completion is scheduled for 12/2023.
