This procurement relates to service travel in Sörmland as the concept of service travel is defined in section 1.1.3 Definitions, which also means that all vehicles are included as a supplementary resource in the demand-responsive public transport in the county.

This procurement relates to service travel in Sörmland as the concept of service travel is defined in section 1.1.3 Definitions, which also means that all vehicles are included as a supplementary resource in the demand-responsive public transport in the county.
As with other municipal activities, a continuous review of transport operations is ongoing. One possible development is that several types of travel and individuals' journeys may be integrated and co-planned in the coordinated traffic in the municipalities. In the long term, this may mean that the type and volume of traffic in the agreement may change. Major changes may be made by agreement with the Supplier.
The Supplier has the right to make additional use of the vehicles used in the Contract, provided that it does not in any way interfere with the agreed traffic in the procurement.
The procurement will be based on Region Sörmland's core values – Well-being, Togetherness, Reliability and Development.
The procurement includes nine (9) contract areas:- Eskilstuna 1 passenger cars- Eskilstuna 2 passenger cars- Eskilstuna 3 special vehicles- Eskilstuna 4 special vehicles- Flen- Gnesta-Trosa- Katrineholm-Vingåker- Nyköping-Oxelösund- Strängnäs
The Buyer intends to enter into an agreement with one (1) Supplier for each contract area through open procurement in accordance with the terms and conditions of these procurement documents.
Volume data
The agreement consists of a fixed commitment (guaranteed volume), which means that the Buyer guarantees the order of a certain number of hours, kilometers and vehicles.
In addition to the guaranteed volume, the buyer has the right, but not the obligation, to order certain additional volumes. The Price and Compensation document contains information about the volume guaranteed by the Buyer (guaranteed volume) and the maximum volume that can be ordered by the Buyer (maximum volume) per contract area.
In addition, the document contains information about the estimated total volume in terms of number of hours and kilometers (estimated volume) for each agreement area. Please note, however, that this is only an estimate and that the Buyer does not guarantee any volumes in excess of the stated guaranteed volume.
During the contract period, changes may occur based on political decisions, operational/organizational changes, etc., which may affect the need and the volume ordered in addition to the guaranteed volume.
