Procurement of project management services for the new building to be built
Building K 26 Operating theatre building of the MHH
Building K26 provides replacement operating theatre capacity for operating theatre block 3 in K5, which is to be decommissioned. It will be attached to the connecting corridor between K5 and K6 and the existing new building K2 Urology/Dermatology. Technical areas are planned on level 01. Level H0 contains the six operating theatres along with the inductions, recovery room/holding and other ancillary rooms.
The project is realized by means of the use of a cumulative service provider (general contractor who prepares the implementation planning on his own responsibility) parallel to classic project implementation with object planners, specialist planners essentially in the area of preliminary and subsequent measures.
At present, it is assumed that the GC will implement about three-quarters of the planned costs and the rest will be accounted for by the classic project implementation. Further details will be made available in the second phase of this procurement procedure.
The scope of services to be procured is basically based on the specifications of the AHO publication series, in particular AHO-PM in the construction and real estate industry issue no. 9 - as of March 2020. From the MHH's point of view, the project is at the beginning of AHO performance level 3 (preparation for execution).
In project stages 1 and 2, there was no external project manager. As a matter of principle, there should be no subsequent commissioning of the previous project stages 1 and 2. Any fundamentals of project management provided from the stages already completed will be made available to the potential contractor. A list, including a description of any missing fundamentals from project stages 1 and 2, will be carried out in the offer phase.
