In order to equip the machinery of Hof University of Applied Sciences in accordance with the current requirements of research and industry, the university is looking for a universal testing machine for testing tensile and compressive properties. Due to the varying demands on the objectives of the companies and the ongoing projects through the university, there is a need to examine a variety of materials. These can range from technical textiles made of tensile materials (eg Dyneema, Aramid) to plastics, mineral and ceramic raw materials (basalt, ceramics), glass or carbon. This also results in the testing of a wide variety of sample shapes, such as yarns, strands / rovings, ropes, chains, strips, nonwovens, prepregs etc. It is therefore the claim of the Hochschule Hof to cover the widest possible range of tensile and compression tests with one machine.

The main services offered through this procurement procedure are the awarding of:

- delivery and installation of a universal testing machine for the Institute of Materials Science (ifm),

- configuration of the universal testing machine,

- briefing and training of the client's employees,

- Service & Support for the machine and the software for 2 years,

Optional support for the further necessary configuration of the universal testing machine,

- Optional extension of service & support.
