The Seehafen Kiel GmbH & Co. KG plans the construction of a shore power system for the electrical supply of cruise ships and ferries in Kiel harbor.

The shore power connection (High Voltage Shore Connection) supplies the energy required by the city of Kiel.

The entire system will be divided into 3 lots and advertised. These are in detail the following lots:

- Lot 1: 110kV substation,

- Lot 2: shore power system,

- Lot 3: connection technology.

This invitation to tender describes the necessary technology for realizing a shore power system. The total output of the system should be 16 MVA and thus the standard IEC / ISO / IEEE 80005-1

Suffice. In total, 2 ships should be able to be supplied in parallel.

The shore power plant will be connected to the customer's own 10kV medium voltage grid of the new substation. The substation itself will be connected to the 110kV network of Stadtwerke Kiel Netz GmbH.

The contractor must plan and prepare the described 110kV substation.

The scope of services for lot 1 of the invitation to tender includes the following works and components which are to be carried out exclusively by specialist firms:

- complete preparation of the design and execution planning,

- 110 kV switchgear,

- power transformer,

- telecontrol, secondary technology,

- meter switch cabinet,

- grounding system (inside),

- briefing, documentation, maintenance.

The contractor must plan and prepare the described shore power system.

The scope of services for Lot 2 of the call for tenders includes the following works and components which are to be carried out exclusively by specialist firms:

- complete preparation of the design and execution planning, compilation of a network calculation,

- manufacture of shore power plant with,

- input and output switchgear,

- transformer station,

- NS and MS cable connections,

- Automation technology, control and operating unit,

- building installation and air conditioning,

- grounding system (inside),

- briefing, documentation, maintenance.

The contractor must plan the connection technology described and produce it ready for operation.

The scope of services for lot 3 of the invitation to tender includes the following works and components which are to be carried out exclusively by specialized companies:

- complete preparation of the design and execution planning,

- cable delivery system,

- cable feeder car,

- cable feed crane,

- cable work for the wiring of the components Ostseekai and Schwedenkai,

- Cable testing, documentation, briefing.
