The subject matter of this contract is the supply and installation of scientific equipment – Water Quality to INL, listed below and detailed in Schedule V attached to these standard specifications (from now on referred to as ‘Specifications’). The equipment listed in Schedule V are the lots that the tender comprises. Tenderers may bid for one or more lots. The subject matter of the contract, in all cases, does not include so-called refurbished scientific instruments and equipment.
The three lots comprising the tender are as follows:
1) Portable confocal Raman;
2) Microwaves digester;
3) NanoSight.
These purchases are funded by the project SbDtoolBox — Nanotechnology based tools and tests for Safer-by-Design nanomaterials with code NORTE-01-0145-FEDER-000047.
Modular (not negotiable) Portable Raman System. The system must include:
(a) this microscope must be portable to be able place on-field. Moreover, this microscope must be confocal;
(b) extensible reflector module changer accepting filter cubes for darkfield, DIC, or fluorescence contrast;
(c) manual z-stage system for sample focus (not negotiable);
(d) manual sample positioning with a resolution ca. 1 μm;
(e) camera coupler for sample visualisation.
Delivery schedule and training
Target delivery time: 6 weeks.
The proposal should include the delivery schedule and the proposed.
Training support for operation and maintenance.
Maintenance contract and warranty.
The proposal should indicate typical costs of the standard maintenance contracts for this tool, as well as indicate the warranty period and items covered under warranty.
The expected required spare parts and maintenance plan with all the costs and timeframe should be detailed for an estimation of a 12 months period.
Technical support
The proposal should indicate the geographical location of the team providing support for the tool to be installed in Braga, Portugal.
