The offering deals with the acquisition of advisory services to support a variety of tasks in project management, technical services and project support.
Common to these are tasks in transmission networks, operational IT and telephony.
Please refer to the procurement material for a detailed description of benefits.
1) Background and purpose:
The framework agreement offered includes advisory services for the establishment, renewal and change of Banedanmark's transmission network, operational IT and telephony. Advisory services will support a variety of tasks in telecommunications systems and supporting functions, including IT and telephony for the existing platform and technology renewal.
Banedanmark's transmission network includes a variety of systems, plants and networks:
- Network facilities of various technologies (e.g. IP/MPLS, FW, SDH and DWDM)
- Telephony plants (e.g. Telephone exchange, telephone sets, VoIP)
- Operational IT systems (e.g. CITRIX, TPS mm.)
Given the coherent nature of the networks, it will also be relevant for Banedanmark to purchase services under this framework agreement for entities operating on the Danish rail network. Therefore, this Framework Agreement will also be possible to purchase services for the associated parties, as indicated under section. V.3).
The most significant tasks are deliveries for use in the signalling program that constitute the basic telecom infrastructure for the new signalling system, consisting of a transmission network, data network and wireless network, as well as associated supporting features such as IT and telephony systems. The signalling program is active until 2030.
In addition, for example, there will also be tasks associated with the Renewal Programme, which is a comprehensive portfolio of projects designed to ensure the continuous renewal of Banedanmark's network within all network types, including the above networks.
A significant part of Banedanmark's projects and deliveries in these years is about creating the foundation for rolling out ERTMS (the new signalling systems). These are projects that largely follow the Plant Plan for Deploying Far East (FIE) respectively. Remote Runway West (FIW). The time horizon thus extends several years into time.
Banedanmark expects a resource move from the supplier up to 25 full-time employees during the term of the framework agreement. The resource trait may vary depending on the need.
