Regionalverkehr Bern Solothurn RBS is planning to build a maintenance and parking facility (depot) in Bätterkinden. This new depot building will replace the facilities in Solothurn and Worblaufen in the future. To the east of the planned depot facility is the existing Bätterkinden station. This is also to be rebuilt in the course of the construction of the depot. Furthermore, the outdoor facilities around the depot will be rebuilt, e.g. as a storage and dispatching facility.
