The purpose of the procurement is to re-establish an education administrative system (EAS) that will be a joint system for nursery schools, before-and-after school care and the schools in Valdres. The aim is to establish a portfolio with a better overview of the functionality and costs that provide predictability during change, as well as ensure that the solution is established in accordance with the Personal Data Act and Datatilsynet's [the Norwegian Data Protection Authority's] guidelines. It will facilitate efficient and secure work processes. So that one ensures good data quality and stability for transferring data between involved programs. This also includes necessary integrations with the supporting systems to ensure amongst other things, efficient electronic work processes, efficient and correct case management in accordance with the applicable regulations in the area and simplifying amongst other things reuse of information. It is imperative that the EAS is user-friendly, future-oriented, professional, comprehensive and in-line with the regulations.
