Description:
Assessment of the conservation status of the fragile cove Anisus vorticulus in the Natura 2000 Ostoja near Promno site PLH300030

1.The subject of the contract is a service consisting in the assessment of the conservation status of the fragile cove Anisus vorticulus in the Natura 2000 Ostoja area near Promno PLH300030 at the historical sites of the species, i.e. Lake Kazanie and a water reservoir with coordinates of the central point X: 384126.559014385915361, Y: 511761.280158309207764.

2.A detailed description of the subject of the contract is attached as Annex 1 to the SWZ

The subject of the contract includes an assessment of the conservation status of the brittle cove Anisus vorticulus in the Natura 2000 Ostoja area near Promno PLH300030 at the historical sites of the species, i.e. Lake Kazanie and the water reservoir with the coordinates of the central point X: 384126.559014385915361, Y: 511761.280158309207764.

The contractor shall carry out field surveys at optimal times enabling identification and determination of the conservation status of the species covered by the contract. Optimal terms are included in the methodologies developed for the needs of the State Environmental Monitoring PMŚ, available in an electronic version on the website of the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection (http://siedliska.gios.gov.pl/pl).

In order to verify the occurrence and abundance of the brittle cove at each tested site, one inspection should be carried out during the growing season - from August 15 to September 15. During the inspection on Lake Kazan, min. 50 samples with a cassette; Min. 30% of the samples should be taken at the border of water and rush, in places overgrown with yellow sea bass and white mushrooms.

The assessment of the conservation status should be carried out in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of 17 February 2010 on the preparation of a draft plan of protection tasks for the Natura 2000 site (Journal of Laws No. 34, item 186, as amended). The total assessment of the conservation status of the species in the area should result from partial assessments made at research stands.

In addition to presenting the results of the joint security assessment, the results of the assessment at individual sites should be provided in the form of field observation forms described in the methodological guide of the EMS. In the first part of the observation cards, enter a row called "GUID" containing the job ID identical to the GUID entered in the attribute table in the GIS layer (see point 8).

The contractor is obliged to provide field observation forms for all inspected species sites.

In the absence of a species finding at the site where the species was previously found, the Contractor is obliged to prepare simplified field observation forms containing at least the following information:

a) assessment of the "habitat" parameter based on the indicators of the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection (GIOŚ),

(b) assessment of the parameter 'chances of preserving the species',

(c) date of field surveys,

(d) explain the reason for the disappearance of the species at the site (specifying whether it was due to natural or anthropogenic reasons) and, if available knowledge permits, indicate the conservation measures necessary to restore it, specifying at least the following parameters: a description of the activities to be carried out and the timing and frequency.

For previously untested sites where no species has been found, the Contractor shall prepare simplified field observation forms containing the assessment of the "habitat" parameter based on the indicators of the Chief Inspectorate of Environmental Protection (GIOŚ), the date of field research and instructions for further monitoring (if justified).

If no fragile cove is found in the samples examined, a list of all species of the genus Anisus recorded in the samples should be made – the census should be prepared separately for each sample. In addition, it is required for each above sample to specify the coordinates of the sampling site.
