ESF funding instrument No 15 “Vocational integration of young people: vocational guidance and vocational preparation”

For persons up to the age of 25 who have difficulties participating in the training or labour market due to their individual situation, services must be provided with the aim of completing a school, training or professional qualification or otherwise entering working life or applying for social benefits or to accept. In addition, care and support services are to be offered with the aim of taking advantage of basic security services for jobseekers, initiating therapeutic treatments and introducing them to standard offers for activation, stabilization and early job-oriented support.

The Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family as well as the participating Berlin Jobcenters also act as a demand provider.

Introduce young people and young adults to the training and job market for the district of the job center Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf

The measures and offers of lot 1 are to be divided into 3 phases and be designed for the individual participation period of 12 months in total. The duration of participation for the respective phases is generally up to 3 (phase I), up to 6 (phase II) and up to 3 months (phase III).

In addition, phase II and III can be extended if necessary if the objectives of the measure have not yet been achieved. The requirement must be justified by the Consignor to the respective customer and approved by the customer in each individual case.

These are to be supported by intensive individual advice and support of the participants:

— to overcome their individual disabilities and disadvantages (difficulties),

— to (re) use basic security services, and

— to develop and stabilise the readiness for school, training or vocational qualifications or to take up employment.

Total number of participants: 15, minimum number of participants: 10

Lot 1 is financed 50% from ESF funds and 50% from the Jobcenter (§16 h SGB II).
