In total, the offer includes the construction of up to 7 buildings for Dansk Return System's mortgage stations (two of which are options), divided by 3 geographical subcontracts, 1) Zealand, 2) Funen and Southern Jutland and 3) Mid- and North Jutland.
Subcontract 1: ZealandContracting entities shall expand its capacity for receiving mortgaged beverage packaging. This will be through the redevelopment of existing mortgage stations and the establishment of new mortgage stations respectively.
A mortgage station is a device in which the user can effectively hand over larger amounts of mortgaged beverage packaging, passing off the packaging in aggregate, after which the mortgage station settles and disburses the user's mortgage.
Somewhat simplified, a pawn station consists of an outer, building frame and a technical-part/machinery inside this frame. This tender relates only to the establishment of the building framework for the new mortgage stations in the form of a standardised base model which the Contracting Regiments will establish in Phase 1.
Overall, Contracting entities expects to increase the number of mortgage stations from the existing 12 to a total of 36. The expansion is expected to occur in three phases, temporally delineated as follows: Phase 1 (2021-2022), Phase 2 (2023-2024) and Phase 3 (2025). This tender relates to Phase 1 alone. Phase 1 alone contains the establishment of new mortgage stations, i.e. no redevelopments.
The construction of the pawn stations is done in main contracting.
